Hello Zion Families!
God has blessed Zion abundantly this past year. Thanks to the generosity of so many families, organizations and sponsors throughout the year and at our auction, Zion was able to make a number of improvements.
First, a big shout out to Lamb of God Lutheran Church for donating the wonderful new reader board up by the road. It has been exciting to see upcoming events and activities highlighted for you and the local community. While that is our most visible new addition, there have been a number of other projects in the works.
Other highlights:
- New playground equipment
- New basketball hoops and backboards for the covered play area
- Two new ovens, a dishwasher and a milk cooler for the hot lunch program
- New computers for all teachers
- New chromebooks for classroom use
- Four new heat pumps
- Refurbished bathrooms in the main building
- New windows for the Library and Music rooms
- Newly paved central pathway
- New office space for Zion’s new Assistant Principal Heather Stahl
- New middle school hangout created by Eagle Scout Ethan Jordy
In addition to these improvements, Zion has added a new portable to provide more classroom space for our growing student body. Thanks to your partnership, Zion continues to be a warm, welcoming place where students can learn, grow, play and build strong foundations for the future.
